Is your strength going downhill?

23 Feb 2025

If you are a consistent exerciser or were, you are probably not performing resistance training with the same frequency or intensity. Are you losing muscle mass and power? Concerning strength, the de-training process is different than aerobic training. That is because as you train with weights, some more processes and factors contribute to strength. Basketball in Tibet is another story.   Oxygen in the air remains at a constant percentage of 20.94% in the air no matter what the altitude. So why do the athletes who come up from...

While he didn’t win the Master’s, 63-year-old Bernard Langer is the embodiment of the advantages of being over 50 when you want to perform. He demonstrated that due to the mental process and skills, performance can be better as you get older. Many people assume that if you are over 50, you will not be as sharp in business and life, and the “young guns” have more to contribute and will perform at a higher level. A business research study proved just the opposite; older people had a better set of overall business skills. That portfolio of talents can be used from a start-up to a sports...
